Karen describes herself as semi retired now but she still helps to develop and assess aspiring Heads of Business for Jaguar Land Rover in the UK. Her career journey has taken in some of the most famous names in UK automotive retailing and also seen her transition to the manufacturer side with roles at Fiat, Rover, Toyota and Mercedes Benz.
In this introduction, I am deliberately trying to avoid revealing any spoilers. I'll just say that Karen's is a wonderful story (at times a romp!) featuring some great brands and personalities from the UK motor industry. At the same time, it's a fascinating case study that demonstrates how knowing your strengths and leveraging them over time can enable you to have an ever increasing positive impact on the businesses and people you work with and a very fulfilling career.
