Shannon has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry where she has successfully executed projects in operational department start-ups, rebuilt company customer experiences, and increased business efficiencies for clients who are Fortune 500, Top 100 Best Employers and Market Disruptors.
She also runs her own company called TheBluDoor as a certified Business and Success coach catering specifically to business owners, leaders and entrepreneurs. She is a member of many industry associations and partnerships including Mindvalley and Wellnomics.
Shannon has also co-authored a book called 'Life Lessons in Success' which is about the authors' personal stories of finding success in challenges, overcoming obstacles, trying new things, and finding joy, fulfilment, and success in life's journey and "The Day the World Paused" which is all about stories of success during this Pandemic.
Our conversation covers her journey from a small logging town in Canada to London where she has spent the last 20 years and from being on the road selling chemicals to heading up the Collections and Recovery team for Honda Finance in the UK. Shannon also shares her reasons for moving into consulting and how she made that happen.
