Description

Steve is the founder of [M]enable whose purpose is to work with organisations within the Automotive Industry to drive and change cultures, so that Mental Health discussions are embraced and encouraged – to sustain performance and growth.

Steve's career has spanned 35 years in the UK motor industry including time with GMAC and Volkswagen Financial Services. He has previously founded his own training and development business. He's a presenter, a facilitator, a podcaster and a broadcaster. He's a Master of Ceremonies and a professional member of the PSA, the Professional Speaking Association.

Steve is now very much focused on building [M]enable and changing cultures in the automotive industry. I was recently introduced to him and hearing him talk about the purpose of [M]enable, I was keen to invite him to be my guest, to celebrate his career and also to share with us the story behind [M]enable and tell us about the work of this very timely new movement in our automotive industry.

As you might expect from someone on a mission to get us talking about mental health, Steve talks authentically and openly about some of the factors and experiences that have shaped him from his early years growing up in North London to everything coming to a head for him personally more recently resulting in him having to take stock and ultimately identifying his purpose and realising how he can best serve humanity going forward.

I hope you enjoy getting to know Steve in this episode and look forward to hearing your feedback.
