In episode 32 of the Sober Vibes Podcast, I’m reflecting on my 38th birthday and what it’s taught me about change, growth, and getting uncomfortable, especially in sobriety.
Let’s be real: change is not comfortable, and that’s exactly why it’s powerful. When you choose an alcohol-free life, you’re choosing to face discomfort instead of numbing it. And that’s where true transformation happens.
I talk about what this season of growth feels like, how sobriety continues to challenge and reward me, and why getting uncomfortable is a necessary part of becoming who you’re meant to be. Because when you stick with the hard stuff, the messy middle, that’s when everything starts to shift.
Remember: discomfort doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong; it means you’re growing.
