In episode 14 of the Sober Vibes Podcast, I’m talking about something that most people in recovery experience but don’t always say out loud: missing alcohol.

If you’ve ever found yourself longing for a drink or missing what alcohol once represented, you’re not alone. It’s a normal part of the healing process. Just like grieving an ex, you’re letting go of something that played a major role in your life, even if it wasn’t healthy.

I share how I processed that grief, what helped me work through the emotions without judgment, and how you can reframe missing alcohol as part of your growth, not a sign of failure. This episode is a gentle reminder that healing is layered, and it’s okay to feel it all.

You’re allowed to miss your old life while loving your new one. Both can be true.
