Pushing the Right Buttons
It is said that “two heads are better than one”, but are two Sam’s better than one?! Well we can find that out in this very episode, as Drewling Samantics welcome another fabulous guest, this week, in the shape of the brilliant Sam Webber.
Sam is a performer, writer, producer, and sound and lighting technician - having spent some time doing the latter whilst touring with the half of our presenting pair that shares his Christian name. While he readily admits that he loves ‘pressing the buttons’, he’ll will pretty much have a go at anything with an element of performance or creativity to it, which as he explains is how he managed to become the multi-talented person that he is. Another of the many strings to his bow is his willingness to push boundaries and go against the norm. This has resulted in him and co-creator (and wife!) Ella, dreaming up shows for children that tour to various venues and spaces, and play with the darker side of children’s imaginations, using puppets and stages in boxes - certainly a unique and intriguing way of presenting theatre.
Fascinating and passionate, Sam Webber is hugely entertaining and well worth listening to or watching, so join Drew Sam now as they double the Sams, for double the fun!
