Welcome to episode 266 of Grasp the Bible. In this episode, Pastor Drew continues our study through Nehemiah. Today we will cover:
· God’s servants arising and building.
· What it means to be a set-apart servant.
· What Nehemiah 3 teaches us about serving side by side, sacrificing, and going the second mile.
Key Takeaways:
· God’s servants are set apart — dedicated to the work and willing to serve.
· God’s servants work side by side — no one was alone in the work.
· Serving God requires sacrifice and yielding rather than being too proud to stoop and serve.
· Who God calls, He equips — and His servants are willing to go the second mile.
Quotable:
· “Eliashib was not too holy to work!”
· “TEAMWORK — No one was alone.”
· “Who God calls He equips!”
· “The Set Apart Savior invites you to be co-laborers.”
Application:
· What are you set apart for?
· Who are you walking with, and what are you willing to sacrifice?
· What load are you too proud to carry?
· How long and how far will you go?
