The Pels lost Game 1 in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs 110-99 Sunday night in Phoenix. The Suns had the early advantage, leading 53-34 halftime and holding the Pelicans to just 11 of 49 shooting (22%)in the first half.
However, the Pelicans did make a run in the third quarter, but Chris Paul scored 19 of his 30 points in the 4th quarter to close the Pelicans out in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series.
