As 2021 came to a close, the New Orleans Pelicans once again found themselves at something of a crossroads. Their best player is once again injured, their second best player has had an injury plagued season and some of the young players who had been expected to step up hadn't.
However things haven't been all bad. The team fought back from a dreadful start to at least pick themselves up off the mat and a few individual players, like Jonas Valanciunas, have had good seasons.
