This week, we will be discussing Season 5!
I have a love/hate relationship with this season...
Love: I was finally able to show people how much I love music; I was able to sing every episode; I was able to fully break down 12 albums that I love from start to finish; I was able to talk about all of the artists who inspired me to sing and write; and this is my most successful/most-streamed season by far.
Hate: I was very sick pretty much the whole time I was recording this season, which is not ideal for someone who wants to sing and talk for over an hour. I could not get better no matter what I did, but I never skipped a week, and I pushed through for 12 weeks to make sure I had an episode to drop every single Monday (:
I worked really hard to research each album and come up with things to say about it. I did not think anyone would care about this season at all. Mostly because it's very different from my interviews, and I was not going to have anyone on, but everyone really loved this season, and it was received very well, which I will always be very happy and content with <3
