Brethren, are you listening to what's being passed off as 'words from the Lord' out there in the Christendom these days. Now, there has always been false prophets in and around the Church. However, these days the false prophets outnumber the biblically faithful men and women of God 100 to 1! The social network realms are laden with religious babblers making all kinds of phony promises or predictions! These phony prophets are promising (whoever happens onto their site) stuff (from the God) that even Moses himself would have a 'hard time' delivering on!!! Christ warned His Followers that there WILL BE MANY false prophets leading MANY people (which would include biblically ignorant Believers) astray! Christ's words, not Bob's! These days in most churches anyone can rattle off whatever idiotic religious gibberish they want to...so long as they openly state that what they're sharing is a 'word from the Lord' or 'something that God put on their heart to share' and no one says a word against them or their foolish, empty religious babblings!
Saints, God's people are commanded to test the spirits! Problem is...when you don't know your Scriptures very well, you don't know what it takes to pass a sound, Bible teaching test!
