Anyone with true spiritual insight knows that for the most part today's Church is asleep biblically. Oh, there are a LOT OF Churches that are 'good' at 'playing' 'Church'....but very few Churches that are truly striving to stay true to God's commandments as they pertain to the Church.
Have you attended a Bible study lately? No one is teaching God's Truths (with authority and biblical knowledge) at these Bible studies. Most of today's Bible studies have become spiritual free-for-alls where everyone attending the study teaches (from the pews and from the pulpit) what they believe is God's Truths. The problem is...for nearly every Bible verse that brought up for discussion at these Bible studies, there are numerous views on just WHAT the verse is saying. It shouldn't be that way Brethren. If you do not know your Scriptures...you should NOT volunteer to teach the Bible. Believers are NOT being taught God's Truths....IF there are multiple opinions for what each verse could possibly mean.
Sadly, in most Churches today....even the basic Church doctrinal Truths of God's Word are ignored or avoided. And instead of sound doctrine being taught to the sheep....there is a lot of 'Bible teaching' based on what feels or seems right.
