I wanted to reassure God's people that there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with STRIVING or being DILIGENT or putting some EFFORT into working for those WONDERFUL Heavenly Rewards that the the Scriptures speak of. IN FACT, the Scriptures are CRYSTAL CLEAR....IF a Believer IS diligently striving and/or persevering to SEEK AFTER and EARN those rewards that are mentioned in the Bible....they are NOT being arrogant....they are being obedient! (I know that what I just shared drives most of those pious, 'it's all about the Spirit' Believers WACKO!) Why would Christ COMMAND His people TO PILE UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN.....IF it was arrogance or selfishness to do so????? Come on all you emotionally driven Believers....think thru what I just said before you judge me!!
Listen Brethren, I want it to be me (and NOT the Spirit making me or filling in for me) as I show Christ my love and appreciation for what He did for me at Calvary BY DOING WHAT HE COMMANDS all His people to do....which is LEARN and then OBEY God's Word. And IF that 'love journey of faithfulness" (that I choose to go on with Christ) opens up the possibility for me to earn or merit rewards then Praise God! He is obviously and absolutely a rewarder of those children of His who DO AS HE COMMANDS!!!
