It is sad to see so many Believers so easily accepting the 'fake news' teachings that are going on in many churches these days. A lot of today's Believers are just like today's liberals, who emotionally accept lies...as though they were truths...without bothering to logically check to see IF what they believe is a lie or a truth. Sadly, spiritual discernment is just 'not happening' with most Believers today. They like their 'feely' religious beliefs.
Brethren, when a shepherd tells you that the Bible says that EVERY Believer can have a complete victory of their sin nature...that IS fake news!
When a Church leader tells you that the Bible says that the Lord WILL fight ALL the spiritual battles for His children...that too is fake news!
When a Church leader tells you that God WILL ALWAYS be there with you and for you...no matter what you are going thru, or what you are involved in as a Christian...simply because He loves you ssssooooo much...is also fake news!
And finally, when a church leader or Bible teacher tells you that the Holy Spirit WILL CAN give ALL Believers supernatural physical strength to accomplish Samson-like feats...is also fake news!
Sadly, we live in a time when way too many Believers are accepting the foolish concept that the Lord will DO IT ALL for His children! These Believers are told that they just need to 'sit-back' and enjoy the ride to paradise. Such foolish thinking. And yet, then these Believers wonder WHY the Church is in such a spiritual mess. It's NOT rocket science Brethren!
