Who doesn't want nice stuff? And the Great I am does HAVE lots of 'NICE STUFF' to offer to His children. Unfortunately, most of our Heavenly Father's 'NICE STUFF' comes with this "catch"....we MUST obey Him according to His Word....or we won't get the nice stuff He's offered us! As I shared in my podcast, many in the Church have tried to turn the HOLY and JUST God of Scriptures into a "Santa-Claus god"....who simply gives all the boys and girls presents because He can.
Brethren, in many ways our Heavenly Father functions just like a God-fearing earthly father SHOULD function with his children. He BLESSES his children when they obey him....and does NOT bless them when they are disobedient. The Lord has 'offered' some wonderful earthly and eternal rewards and blessings to ALL His children. However, to receive these rewards and blessings from our Father.....He MUST deem us faithful! And NOT just faithful. But faithful to His written Word.
