This podcast is a 'gentle' rebuke for all you Believers who sincerely believe that there were 120 Believers all 'huddled' together on the Day of Pentecost (in Acts 2.1). Listen, the Truths of God's written Word are right there for ALL to read and learn. (Sadly, after 40 years of being a Believer I see unsaved people who have with a better understanding of many of the Truths of Scriptures than God's own people do!) Unfortunately, a LOT of Believers...like Lemmings headed for the cliff...simply believe what they believe because someone told them to believe it! Isn't that sad? And what's 'doubly sad' its that these same biblically ignorant Believers will zealously 'hang on to' a doctrine that's not biblical...and 'shun' the real Truth of Scriptures when it comes their way.
2 Timothy 4:1-4 --- I solemnly urge you Timothy, in the presence of God and Yeshua Christ, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom: Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
For a time is coming when (God's) people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. (par added)
Brethren, this written TO and FOR Believers. And HOW do I know that? I know that because Yeshua Christ is the judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ. and the Judgment Seat of Christ is a reward judgment...and NOT a salvation judgment!
Here's another example of a Believer judgment.
John 5:25-29 ---- And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live. The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son. And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man. Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God’s Son, and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment.
And HOW do I know this is a Believer judgment? Well, NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE experiences or receives eternal salvation for being good! This is a reward judgment! The faithful Believer hears, WELL DONE GOOD and FAITHFUL servant...while the worldly, lukewarm, disobedient (to God's written Word) hears...Get them away from ME, they were wicked lazy slaves!
