The Podcast on this topic is pretty self-explanatory. The Lord already knows that for the most part His Church IS a spiritual mess! All these different denominations doing whatever seems right in their own eyes! Most Churches simply pick the biblical stuff they like....and ignore the stuff they do not like....and then make up the rest of their teachings as they go along.
I believe that most Shepherds are spiritual cowards! They have the authority from the Lord TO ESTABLISH MODESTY guidelines in their churches.....and yet for more worldly reasons then I want to share here, they refuse to do just that!
Now, I know that there are SOME Christian women out there in Christendom who are concerned about the LACK OF modesty they see. But even in that group there are very few who choose to follow God's biblical guidelines on HOW the Lord commands Christian women to DRESS and WHAT to wear while doing just that. 1 Timothy 2.9 IS a VERY, VERY powerful verse.....for those Christians who are seriously looking for answers on HOW and WHAT God expects Christian women to dress. Unfortunately, the WORLD has it's 'roots' so deep into today's Church that most Believers sincerely (but foolishly) believe that Bible verses like 1 Timothy 2.9 are NOT for today's Church. So, that kind of thinking means that in their eyes there ARE NO standards for modesty anymore! Isn't that a sad testimony of where the Church is at these days?
