Sadly, we live in a time when most Believers could NOT explain SIX essential biblical doctrines of the Church Epistles IF their life depended on it! Oh, there are a lot of Believers ‘doing church’…but very few are ‘doing church’ as their Heavenly Father has commanded them. Yeshua Christ warned the Believers of the Sardis Bible church that they had a name on the marquee outside their church which made them sound biblical…but they were spiritually dead! WOW! Those are ‘tough love words’ from the savior! Unfortunately, because so many of Yahweh’s children are biblically ignorant…they don’t ‘get’ what Yeshua means by His Words.
Proverbs 2:1-5 My son, if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you; Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding; For if you cry for discernment; Lift your voice for understanding; If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will discern the fear of Yahweh and discover the knowledge of God.
Brethren, reading the Scriptures is NOT the same thing as discerning the Scriptures. This world is full of church leaders, Bible ‘teachers’ and Christian social media ‘influencers’ spewing all kinds of biblical ½ truths (½ truth are always a lie!) or phony or misguided promises (from supposedly the Lord) that aren’t qualified! And that’s because a lot of born-again, Spirit indwelt Believers simply don’t know what they’re talking about! Again…listen to these (Church) End Time Words of Christ (when He was asked what the End Time Church would look like.) These warning words are the first things that Christ shares when He’s asked what the End Time will look like. Matthew 24:4-5 See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. Of all the things that the savior could have shared first…He shares these sobering words with His closest Followers! Again, because so many Believers don’t discern their Scriptures very well…they totally miss what their savior shares in Matthew chapter 24!
Saints, it takes more than simply being saved to discern the Truths of Scriptures. Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
