I know that there are many Believers in the Church who get discouraged by how easily they give into sin. Well, I'm here to tell you to that's a 'normal' part of this earthly life! (And anyone who tells you any differently IS a liar!) Contrary to what many of you are foolishly taught...there is NO mystical, supernatural 'movement of the Holy Spirit' (this side of heaven), that's going to 'deliver' ANY Believer from their fleshly sin struggles! As the Bible says, we were conceived in sin...and this earthly body will have to live with that sin nature until we get to heaven, where we'll get a new, sinless (Yay!), glorified body!
It must break God's heart to see so many Believers (who have been misled) foolishly going up to some church-invented  'Altar call' (some for years on end), because they have been taught that God will 'remove' their sin struggles...IF they have enough faith...or IF they get this imaginary, man-made concept of a second or third or fourth 'baptism of the Spirit'...or IF they would speak in a tongue! I promise you that the Judgment Seat of Christ will NOT go well for all you shepherds who push these unbiblical, emotionally-driven doctrines on your sheep!
Brethren, part of our spiritual journey (with Christ) involves us having to spend our lifetime not only dealing with the wicked ways of this world...but with the wicked ways of our flesh! But what should be encouraging to us all is the fact that our Heavenly Father knows quite well that His children ARE sinners...and WILL sin...until He calls us home! With that said though...He still expects His children to strive (in spite of our rotten sin nature...and in spite of the wicked temptations of this world) to walk in a manner which pleases Him! So praise God that we have a High Priest who can 'relate' to our sin struggles! Praise God we have a savior who will NOT mock or reject us when we stumble in sin!  And praise God, that so long as we DON'T unrepentantly WALLOW IN our sin(s)...we can humbly and repentantly approach the Throne of Grace (over and over and over again), where our crimson red sins will be washed as white as snow!
