Sadly, because so many Believers have 'lost' the ability to discern biblical Truth...they are 'allowing' themselves to be led astray from the REAL Truths of Scriptures by 'accepting' 'bits and pieces' of Bible verses as though they were a whole Truth of God! Brethren, teaching or posting 1/2 'Truths' of Bible verses makes you a deceiver! And even if you 'line up' one 1/2 "Truths' after another (in a sermon, Bible teaching or worship song) all those 1/2 'Truths' still add up to one big lie! And those of you who are using or teaching 1/2 'Truths' of Scriptures are either willfully or ignorantly leading God's people astray! If you are doing this...(regardless if you're trying to be sincere and/or encouraging) you are just as evil as the false teachers who purposely try to lead God's people astray!
All the time I see people posting parts of a God Promise Verse. Not understanding that when you do this you are 'making' the Lord out to be someone He is not! Quite often, many of the songs Believers use to 'worship' the Lord are laden with 1/2 'Truths.' Brethren...no matter how 'sweet' and 'pious sounding' your worship song might be...the Good Lord is never pleased with words of praise laden with 1/2 'Truths'! Remember...God MUST BE worshiped in spirit and Truth!
I've been a Believer for over 40 years, and I can count on one hand the number of times I have heard a Bible teacher (whether it be a pastor or simply a layman doing a Bible study) QUALIFY the Bible verse promise that they are reading! Brethren, God has ALWAYS told His people....IF YOU DO AS I SAY, THEN I WILL DO AS I PROMISE! Contrary to what many of you teach and or believe our Heavenly Father does NOT fulfill His promises (for His children)...just because they are His children!
Deuteronomy 28:9 ---- IF you obey the commands of the LORD your God and walk in His ways, THEN the LORD will establish you as His holy people as He promised He would do.
Those of you who choose to teach God's Word must be careful to QUALIFY (i.e. explain) WHY a Believer does or does not receive God's promises! Because when you choose not to do that...you are either adding to...or taking away from the Truths of God's Word. And I promise you that IF you willfully or ignorantly do that...the Judgment Seat of Christ will NOT go well for you!
