I know, I know...Lord Salvation sounds all pious and righteous. To many Believers it just seems like this is the type of salvation one needs to have in order to please a Holy and JUST God! Well Brethren...it would be...IF lost people needed to please the Lord in order to be eternally saved. However, they don't! It was Christ's sacrifice for mankind's sins which appeased (i.e. satisfied) the Father's requirement for removing sins. Brethren, eternal salvation is an absolutely, totally, 100% free gift from the Father to the world! Paid for by the sacrifice of His Son. And the only stipulation that the Lord puts on lost people IF they want to receive this free gift of eternal life is to belief that Christ paid the complete and final price for their sins! Brethren, faithfully serving the Lord is an absolute essential IF a born-again, eternally saved, blood-bought child of God desires to hear WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT! However, serving the Lord faithfully or unfaithfully...has got nothing to do with a person receiving the free gift of eternal life. How can an eternally saved, blood-bought, born-again child of God forfeit or 'lose' their eternal salvation (from hell) for being 'bad' (i.e. disobedient), given the fact that they never received it for being good in the first place?
