A lot of Believers are NOT taught that they are responsible for producing BOTH the DEEDS (i.e. behaviors and actions) of the FLESH and the DEEDS (i.e. behaviors and actions) of the spirit (small s our spirit!) We all know that the Holy Spirit is NOT responsible for producing the deeds of the flesh that Believers CHOOSE to do. Just as the Holy Spirit is NOT responsible for producing or accomplishing the deeds of the spirit (small s) that Believers CHOOSE to do! Brethren, when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, He cursed them with a FLESHLY sin nature which IS passed down to all humans. However, being the compassionate God that He is...He kept the inner human spirit free from the curse of sin! So the spirit of mankind (unlike the sinful flesh) has the ability to produce godly deeds and godly behaviors....and to make good and righteous choices! And not only that, the Bible implies that in the spirit of ALL men and women...SAVED or LOST...the Lord has 'planted' just enough 'Light' that humans have a basic spiritual understanding of God's moral laws in them. God's people are responsible for choosing to produce godly fruit (i.e. godly behaviors and attitudes) in their lives. The Holy Spirit is NOT a DOER...He is a Helper!
