Grace! Grace! Grace! They tell us that the Christian life is all about God's grace. They tell us that God's grace will overcome our sin! They say that God's grace will see us thru every situation! And that God's grace will never end! And finally, they say that a Believer can never out-grace God's grace!
Now, all those things sound nice and 'loving'. The problem is that they are NOT biblically accurate! God's GRACE can be CONDITIONAL! (CONDITIONAL means that there IS a requirement (from the Lord) IF a Believer hopes to receive God's grace.) Here is an example of what I mean! The Scriptures tell us...over and over again....that the Lord gives grace to the HUMBLE! So, that means that the Lord does NOT give His grace to the arrogant or prideful!
ONE of the CONDITIONS (or requirements) for receiving God's grace is HUMILITY!
I know that the concept of God's grace...like the word love....is both misused and misunderstood. These two podcasts will help explain the truths of what God's grace is....and HOW God's grace works!
