As I do quite often in these podcasts, I emphasize the critical importance of TRULY KNOWING WHAT God's Truths are. Lord knows His Church is loaded with people teaching 1/2 truths of His Word. (And no matter how nice a 1/2 truth might sound...a 1/2 truth is always a lie!) A lot of the 1/2 truths being taught in churches today comes from Believers teaching things out of the Scriptures that are either NOT for the Church Age....OR....simply taken out of context.
2 Timothy 2:15-18 -----Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior. This kind of talk spreads like cancer, as in the case of Hymenaeus and Philetus. They have left the path of truth, claiming that the resurrection of the dead has already occurred; in this way, they have turned some people away from the faith.
Brethren, contrary to what you have been taught...God's Truths do NOT come with multiple choice options! It is NOT OKAY to be sincere and wrong about God's Truths. (That is why a Believer should NOT be teaching God's Word IF they do NOT know their Scriptures !) Yes, we do serve a gracious God. However, He does NOT handle willfully stupid very well!
