Brethren, getting born-again is just the beginning of a new life in Christ. Our Heavenly Father has given us an entire Book loaded with His thoughts on HOW He wants His new children to live their spiritual lives. You see, the Lord's NOT simply looking to add new children to the family. His plan is to give His new children instructions on how He wants His children to please Him...and then demand that they obey His instructions! The problem as I see it is that a lot of the King's children are presently 'taking advantage' of their new position of 'royalty'...and are living their lives like spoiled, pampered, rebellious brats! Well, one day those children will face their King. And on that day...they will give an account for how righteously or unrighteously they lived as children of the King.
2 Corinthians 5:9-10 -----Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
