Those abbreviations I stumbled through the most. Ensure any MRI tech programs you are considering is accredited by one of these three organizations:

1.  Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT),
2. American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT), or
3. Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
