From John 16:20–24, we discover that true joy isn’t found in perfect circumstances or fleeting feelings — it’s found through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus promises that our sorrow can turn into joy — not by ignoring the pain, but by walking with Him through it. Joy is the natural result of a Spirit-filled life, and it grows even in broken places.
Main Idea: The Fruit of the Spirit are not commandments — they are the evidence of walking with the Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, our joy is made complete.
