Disaster is part of life—we can’t always avoid it, but we can overcome it. In Genesis 41, Joseph shows us how to face disaster with wisdom, trust, and faith. Pharaoh’s dreams revealed seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine, and Joseph’s response teaches us a key truth: God’s plan isn’t always to prevent disaster, but to prepare us to endure and rise above it.
The way forward is clear: trust God’s Way, trust God’s When, and apply wisdom that leads to freedom. Disaster doesn’t have to destroy you when you lean on God’s plan.
