Connor wraps up the "Church Words" series with an examination of "discipleship." If trusting Christ as your Savior is the "party," then discipleship is the "after party" – the imperative of the Great Commission. Discipleship can begin much sooner than some Christians think – as soon as you understand the Gospel, you're ready to share it with others. And it doesn't take a long time – as soon as the person you're discipling understands the Gospel, then they're ready to spin off and make disciples themself!
THE EXTRA: Connor stops by our podcasting studio to talk a little more about that hard teaching when Jesus said we must hate our family members and our own lives to follow Him. We're not going to soften the word "hate," but we're going to give it some perspective.
