God. Yes, God.... He, the great I AM, He alone, has great plans for us. It's just we are too busy to be in his silent company. What a loss! And yet we choose everything but Him! And an entire lifetime, passes. A lifetime that should have been and was intended by God to be a treasure, and a gift, becomes a great loss. And it is given to us and sometimes we destroy the intent of the gift given because we did not think it through the way we should have with the mind of God.
I think we need to recognize our actions and what they represent. We need to own our behavior. And to be quite honest we need to be humbled again, and again, of our self worth. We were made in the eyes and image of God. Whether we like it or not. We were given so many gifts that we unfortunately take for granted. Why cant we remain truthful with the gifts of life and love and faith until our Lord comes back for us? Why ? Why do we throw away these priceless treasures here on earth? Why do we constantly fail God himself during our earthly pilgrimage toward Him?
Honestly, wholeheartedly I believe you and I just need to do one thing. We need to get out of Gods way. I say that very lovingly and without any harsh intent whatsoever. To do this, we need to step outside of our self. We are so full of ourselves we need to purge everything that we have taken into our lives and empty ourselves out of what we thought we created was right but ended up hurting us inside. We can very easily damage our self unknowingly, and even without our own permission, life happens and the ramifications are lasting scars that eat away at the beauty of Gods creation. How can that be? Well, its simple, we over indulge with worldly desires that are so short lived, leaving us feeling empty inside, lonely, vulnerable to further damaging our soul.
We need to walk away from everything that lures us and takes us away from our self and our true identity as a person. And find our self and further understand the reality of our truth. The truth within us exists underneath everything else we have experienced, and in order to find that truth, its important to walk away from all the things that took you away from your original identity.
If we could only, nix the darkness, we can then walk into the light, walk in the truth, that will definitely explain in greater detail who we are, and who we were meant to be. This is the crossroad where you no longer get to exercise the power of your free will and offer it back to God. Surrendering our desires to obtain the desires of our creator, is mind blowing , incomprehensible, for the majority of us to wrap our arms around fully, however, It can be done!
Inside of you is the deepest strength and it is a gift that needs to be exercised with great respect. When we respect all that God has done for us, in us, and hopefully with us, (For those who have yet to walk in Christ )we can cross the threshold of great hope in our lifetime. That would be a marvelous feat! Because we have decided to place God in the forefront of our very lives, we give Him great access and great power to claim us and to bring us with Him everywhere He wants us to go and unites us to the people He feels are our best companions for the journey.
Those who desire Christ, who desire truth, who desire "The Way" live, truly live, as Christians complimenting God's plans, inspiring a generation yet to discover them self, as Christ living in them, is something we can do. We can take part in this eternal legacy with Christ as a gift. The gift of Him living in you and me, is the truth, and it is certainly worth discovering, knowing, living, and passing on, before our very end of our life draws near.
