During our lifetime we should be choosing and desiring to grow in our faith walk with our creator. He inspires me to become more than who I am right now. He has a hold of me in a great way where I join Him in teaching the next generation of believers the truth. I am given a short time on this earth and I can do something awesome and wonderful right now. I am offering to God my very best self. I want my creator to see the good deep inside of me. Good that I cannot waste meaning selfishly hold onto, within myself. I must share everything He has taught me over a period of close to six decades. God has empowered me greatly, and it is truly a beautiful thing. He reminds me daily, that we as Christians need to be doing more when it comes to our faith, and in serving our brothers and sisters. We need to step out of our comfort zone and speak out about the truth. And I get it! By no means is this easy, but now more than ever it is necessary to educate those who are open in their mind and in their heart to know the great God we all pray to. God is with us right now. Even as you read this description. He is alive in you and in me. He is the reason why I write this podcast. Every episode description comes from the same God living inside of me. When I record my voice to speak to you, I purposely do not correct any of my recordings mistakes and it all reveals that only God is perfect! That greatly humbles me. Today, we get to discuss the importance of prayer and study and having the desire to grow deeper into the great gift of faith and I love that because, so much fruitfulness begins to flourish, as we grow into Christ. It takes time to desire this type of growth. But once it happens to us we are never quite the same people. We find ourselves much more understanding, and craving the knowledge we are given and how it forms us into better people, I think is the true essence of experiencing this everlasting treasure. And that exact treasure is given to us to share and to not be horded over because it is in the unity of this great and wonderful spirituality we increase our ability to open up a meaningful dialogue that is necessary in satisfying the deepest hunger within our souls. More of God, more of His mercy, more of his truth, and the deeper we go to find Him the more we become engaged in his greater plans for our eternal life. I know we cant see it yet, nor can we fully understand where eternity is, but as my incredibly awesome pastor Father Patrick Francis O' Doherty tells us quite often "Heaven Is A Person". When we die Jesus will come for us and take us to himself. He also said just today "We Are The Light Of The World"... And he challenged the entire congregation to consider saying at some point in our day today, "I Am The Light Of The World". And I was excited to open my car window on Highway 200 and proclaim those words today after mass. Our pastor challenges us at every mass to be prophets, priests, and kings, as we were called at our holy Baptism. I am sure there is a good reason for us to prophesy. We are God's hands, feet, voices, and we should use everything God has given to us, to serve Him at every capacity. I am honored to be used as his instrument serving you! This is the one area of my life that I have and will continue to put forth my all for Him! For the sake of humanity. For the sake of every soul. For the sake of Christianity. Unity must reign with God right now. We are one bread, one body. He is one Lord of all. When we receive Christ, Christ receives us. Our eyes must turn toward him, so that our hearts are converted. Conversion lifts all sorrow, in exchange for Joy. And the Joy of Christ will forever reign in hearts that love and seek Him.
