Adoration in Christ, what exactly is it?  Adoration is when we enter into the silence adoring our precious Lord waiting for us within the holy monstrance.  We enter into the deepest silence and we pray, reflect, read, write about how our Lord is entering into our heart during that one very special full hour totally dedicated to him.  Growing up I did not have an adoration chapel, however the last few decades I have experienced holy adoration on special feast days.  Fortunately we have the great blessing of  twenty four hour adoration.  Our Lord invites you and me to experience his holy presence.  He has so much to say, if only we could make him a priority by setting aside the world for one hour.  Since we moved here, we have been assigned to our holy hour and outside of that holy hour I am very compelled to create my own seperate hour sometimes leading to two hours every week.  I know that is still very little considering all of what God has done for me and is continuing to do for me.  But let me tell you that God wants to bless our lives through every encounter we have with him in holy adoration.  We do encounter Christ, and in turn we experience a great transformation inside of ourselves. A transformation that is absoultely necessary for the healthy development of our very souls.  I am grateful I am here.  I am grateful to be growing in Christ, and I am preparing my soul for eternity.  Not just my own soul but the souls of everyone God is placing in my path.  I love our church, our pastor, he is top notch, upholding a caliber I have never seen  before in a priest, and in my heart I believe I will never see again.  He is holy, and we are all becoming holy through his example of love toward Christ, Mary, Saints, and if you are given the opportunity to experience just one homily of his, you will take away with you the gift you have been desiring to receive your entire life through the church.  The gift of truth, and nothing is more refreshing than the truth when it comes to the faith.  The faithful must be prepared for trials, tribulations, unexpected errors, and every church needs a great shepherd.  I wish all priests served Christ in the capacity we see in Father Patrick O' Dohery, his guidance is par excellance, and  so many seminarians, deacons, priests, would benefit greatly by his wisdom and journey toward the eternal life with all the proper guidance necessary to do it successfully and powerfully thorugh Mary our holy mother.
