Description

Be a woman of silence.  Today is the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi.  Francis shows us "The Way"...  I desire to be found always and completely in harmony with and obedient to God's will, alone in everything.  For death is not an end for us, we are able to in faith and love deal serenely with the coming of Sister Death.  Psalm 139:1-18, 23-24.  How does this give you hope?  Everything created by God, is wonderful.  Always on my side, leading me to the way of old.  God will render due justice to the wicked and the good.  There in I find all the hope, all the comfort, I will ever need.  God knows us and he is always with us, always protecting us.  Even if I settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there, your hand will guide me.  I trust in you
 O God, explicitly.

Saint Paul tells us we have been given new insight and new understanding on suffering.  We will unite ourselves with Christ and bring redemptive power to our suffering.  We will engage in our suffering and it becomes our new activity for the moment.

All of us will die.  All of us will also be taken back to Jesus.  The resurrection is important to the practice of our faith because it is not the end of everything.  It is the doorway to new life.  It gives us faith and hope and spiritual value that confirms our believing in our Lord of life.  Immeasurable greatness of his power is available for all who believe.  Jesus resurrection assures that God is with us in our pain and suffering.  Our suffering draws us near to Him.  It does not separate us from life.  United to Jesus we bring the suffering chalice that makes it redemptive in its union with Jesus.  On the cross Jesus bore the full weight of evil and removed its power over us.
