Draw me ever closer to your love Jesus! Make my soul pure again. Remove from my soul the very stain of that first SIN that separated me totally from you. That sin that had turned my life upside down, that it had caused me to lose all sense of you, all sense of myself. Why did I allow myself to remain so far away from you for all those years? Why Lord did the evil one have such a strong hold on my soul leading me astray? Why, why was I so lost, without a compass, denying the truth of my situation? All very pertinent questions. All have brought me here to you in this very moment. By your grace, by your glory, I have come to the realization of where my s first began in me. And where I was then, locked up as if in a prison of my own soul, no light in sight. The evil one had a field day with my soul for years. Thank God, that was then. This is now. And out of the depth of my sinful nature, I have found you, the pearl of great price, and you have redeemed me, as your most treasured possession. Glorified, yes! Cleansed, yes! Forgiven, yes! Happier, my gosh yes! Holier, yes! Mightier than ever in you, yes! I am a new creation, in and through my creator, I have figured out my dilema. Through the prayers of my loved ones, my ancestors who have already been judged by God, and have seen him face to face. I am endebted to all my ancestors in heaven who helped me to rise above the darkness of my sin. My life has new meaning, new purpose, a newness that only could have been given by you Lord. Thank you. Praise you! Love you! All service belongs to you! A new conclusion wipes away years of tears, years of madness, years of confusion, I am only left with the joy of you. With the joy of having you in my life, relying upon you knowing you will get me through this journey and never leave my side. To think that there were moments you were not by my side in my sinful nature, understandably so, I now realize why it was I could not progress upon the path of life you would have greatly approved of. When we no longer live in you, really bad things happen. The journey is much more difficult, and the evil one reveals his power. However when we come to the realization of choosing a better path, it is then we choose Jesus and the interior life within us begins. The interior life with Jesus is the place where we as men and women of God, need to find and remain in. Like a precious gem, Jesus is the one, the only one that we should encounter in our life time whose relationship needs to become a priority in our life, to the second we take our last breadth. As young Catholics we are taught in the first grade, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! He takes root in us and as his very sons and daughters we are purified by the fire that is He! He burns away from us all that is dark, all that is sinful, all that is not worthy of eternal life. He even gives us our very own guardian angel. Whose sole job is to protect us from harm and evil. And a beautiful prayer to our guardian that we say daily. "Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom Gods love commits me here, ever this day be at my side to light, to guard, to rule, and guide, Amen". Allow no one and nothing, not even the worst circumstance in your life, to seperate you from God. This is why we have the sacraments within the Catholic church. Each one has a specific purpose to help guide and strengthen your bond in Jesus as you journey life, on a pilgimage toward heaven.
