We all have so many obstacles to over come within our own selves, sometimes it can be overwhelming. But with God he has the ability to calm down the storms happening to us from as early as our childhood and as late as our senior years. Some of us are entering into the summer season of life and others are experiencing the winter season. Summer is warm and always welcoming and winter is always cold, and lonely, and uncertain. What ever season you are entering into fear not for our precious Lord has you in the palm of his hand. Question is where is yours? Are you trusting that He will take care of you when everyone else has passed away or have forgotten you? We must as Christians have this particular type of trust, otherwise we will lose all faith. And we cannot afford to make a poor choice ever. We are a child of our Lord, we are loved beyond measure. We are His and forever, we will be. There are two decisions in life we can make and they are great decisions or lousy decisions. We can choose Faith in God, or we can choose Faith in Others. We will experience far less disappointment when we choose God, because when we choose others, no two paths are identical. However, with God there is only one path, and we follow Him. Faith and having faith realized is a very powerful reality, the existence of God in our life nurturing us in his truth, feeds us the spiritual nourishment that we need to live holy lives. And when we remain holy, we enter into the holy presence of God. And it is a wonderful reality. Better than any reality we can live in because we go on living in that reality even after our death. When our final journey is done on earth, a completion of Gods greatest creation lives on for all eternity. God promises us life eternal when we follow him. When receive him in the form of the holy eucharist, when we confess our sinfulness to a holy priest, when we fast and do penance for others for the sake of the greater good, God is present with us. God needs his children to be obedient, to be growing every single day in him. If we are not attempting to do our best for God, our existence is meaningless. And in order to have a meaningful life we have to strive for a higher perfection and seek that perfection with God in silent prayer. A seed he will plant inside of you. A seed that will grow and bear much fruit in his most holy name. A seed that will never die, a seed that will be nourished by the truth through the holy gospel. We have to enter into the truth and we find the truth in reading holy scripture. Start off reading just a few minutes before bedtime. So that the very last words your mind will comprehend will be holy. And inviting God into your psyche at night is the best possible gift warranted because you are engaging your time with God. I would imagine, he loves when ever we do this because, we are opening up the door to the deepest recesses of our heart every time we call on him and invite him into our lives. So today, on the holiest feast day of Saint James, I invite you to enter into the holy presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through apostle Saint James and learn the way that is just, honest, and true, so that that honesty and just full ness will complete you as a human being, as a brother or sister in Christ himself. Invite Saint James into your home, into your prayers, and allow him to reveal himself to you as a saint of great encouragement who endured martyrdom for the sake of humanity. We can connect with the saints through our prayers, and through the experiences they have had during their life journey. Tap into the grace of Saint James and be still. Allow the holy presence of God to enter into your mind and soul this day converting you and your life forever.
