Father's are the most important role models living within every single family. And this weekend we get to honor all Father's beginning with our Holy Father in Heaven. Whom, all men are called to follow. Our holiest Mother Mary carried her precious Son within her womb to bring forth great news. So, what is this great news we need to be hearing, within the twenty first century? We need to know Jesus through Mary, through our own personal desire to know how important He is in relationship to our soul. This choice of knowing of Him intimately as his son, as his daughter, we live, truly begin to live fully when we completely and utterly surrender our self to Him, it is then a much more meaningful life begins. It begins with the following devotions and sacrifices. We live a life of prayer. A life of fasting. A life of on going formation that is absolutely necessary for all Christians to become fruitful. The most important prayer for all Christians can be found through the recitation of the Divine Office. When we open our heart and mind and soul through scripture study, we change. We grow, we become fully clothed in the armor of Christ. It is then we begin to walk differently, we walk knowing that we as individuals walk in the spiritual footsteps of Christ. We transform into holier Christians. We go on to live happier, holier lives, balancing the great joy of being a Catholic Christian and sharing that Christianity with our brothers and sisters who desire growth that is everlasting! In Christ, we definitely grow in Mary, with the ultimate goal of life that is both fully human and fully Christian. Ask any Christian who has chosen to surrender their life to Christ. Christ is at the forefront of everything they do. And they will tell you, how different life is, how much happier they are in knowing Christ, and living life fully present in the Lord. We can all have a happier full life in Christ if we want to. If only we choose to. We can enjoy the benefit of being in God's company while still living on this earth. And the many great graces he wants for us to receive in their entirety. Christ invites everyone to the great feast of plenty. And we rejoice this day in Christ because he has blessed us as his sons and daughters. We are his hands, feet, voice, and we utilize every part of our being for the greater good of another, honoring our Lord. Come to the Eucharistic Feast. Come and Receive the Christ. Enjoy the life He gave you, and enjoy it to the absolute fullest. He loves you and you are His! Taste and see!
This Father's Day, may all Father's come to Christ! Realizing who Christ is, and who they really are, once they walk and live again, in Him. We all have just one life. One very important choice to be considered, this Father's Day. For all men to walk toward Christ, toward a faith that offers only the truth, and re learn to appreciate the sacraments all over again. The truth of what is righteous is powerful for men and equally powerful and at the same time beautiful for women. Real men return to their creator and listen and wait, and slowly become greater by the sacrifices they make to serve God, serve man, serving humanity that in the end everyone benefits from the goodness that becomes the greatness that becomes Christ!
