I am truly blessed to have a friendship among the faithful. I have a wonderful group of married couples who gather every month to celebrate the friendship we share with our precious Lord. Every day that goes by I am most blessed to be amongst these men and women who feed me the truth about life, faith, friendship and most importantly the friendship we all share in Christ.
Christ has brought us all together as a family and we rejoice in his presence. We learn to live, and laugh, and we experience Gods presence in the room. We break bread together as his family, with a love and understanding that is true, that is Christ. Our compassion for one another, our respect for one another and our concern for one another is the gift.
And we do not take for granted the time our Lord has given to us to administer to one another. My hope and my prayer for all of my listeners is this, that you to come to the point of receiving Christ in his people and share in the joy that he wants for your life. And if everyone made a conscious effort in this, just maybe we can enrich the lonely, the lost, the forgotten, with Christ being present, Christ being at the core of our every day living.
