Faith is trusting everything to God. Faith is believing - - - in a higher power. Faith is a self surrendering, of your entire being to your creator. As a woman of faith, I have had the blessing of being surrounded by like minded people my entire life. And even outside of my very own family, God has brought me to others within the church for a very specific purpose that remains solely an apostolate for Jesus and Mary.
I was inspired by God to reach out to those forgotten, those searching, those who need to see Jesus alive in another human beings kindness. This is my role in Christ and I have accepted it in its entirety. I can never ever do enough for God! For all he has done for me, I will spend the rest of my life as his servant. Nothing else matters when we come down to what is most important.
Saving souls for Christ is my mission! I have been chosen by God to be holy and blameless in his sight. I cannot be less than what he has created for and in humanity to become. I want to be kept forever in Him, and if I can accomplish small things for Christ, I am doing something wonderful for souls created by and for Him.
Today we gathered as a church family for lunch and I had this wonderful opportunity to see all the men and women who serve our church in various forms of ministry. We have bereavement, music, extra ordinary ministers, altar servers, lectors, and so on. And to break bread with like minded men and women, is the greatest comfort because we share the majority of our time serving our Lord.
I would imagine, He was and is very pleased by our desire to be in him day in and day out by serving one another in the Catholic Church. Father Shenoy Thomas gave us a beautiful blessing before meal time, and a wonderful conversation about his apostolate and journey with Jesus while in South Africa. He is new to our parish and we welcome him and thank him for the gift of uniting all of us today as one family, one body, in Christ!
