The Joy I experience today has taken 59 years of my life to discover. Before I close my eyes I want that same joy to be found by everyone in the universe. You see it is all about Jesus. When one lives long enough one knows this to be the truth of all truths. Jesus our Lord, our creator, our Father, our Teacher, our love. We are made in his image and likeness. There is no confusion in him. Only truthfulness and love. Something the world will never give. That is the kind of love awaits those who seek, who find, who choose to remain in him, for an eternity! There is no time with God. Time is eternal. We are eternal beings. A reality most of us aren't honestly aware of or paying attention to. We chase wind instead, and distinctly we realize something deeper than our comprehension is missing. It is Jesus! The answer to every problem. Our Lord lives in you and in me. He knows us, created us, and loves us beyond all telling. He knows every outcome of our life and why certain things happened, and why other things didnt. Christ is the greatest of all healers, and when we go to him, and we humbly present our situation on bended knee, with an opened heart, God can fillet right through the mess of our very lives, and make us holy, if we choose to cooperate with his grace. Others embark upon a journey running away from his truth, only to run into disaster or hardship. But when we choose to stop running away or toward something my Mom once told me, we can just be, and as we remain still in Christ, we cut through the silence of our situation, and we learn with the help of God, his ways of working through them as silent, honest, prayerful contemplatives, it is then through these great new refreshing choices God grants us all the tools within a tool box to help us help ourselves maturely grow out of our single minded ways. With God we can walk through the fire and not get burned! Jesus, the truest light of the world, will allow his light to overshadow you within the darkest of places, but we need to call on him, call his name, and when we give him authority to work within the parameters of our hurts, mistakes, unseen to us personally our imperfections that others see, a wonderful healing process takes place... God can reveal to us everything when we choose to go directly to him in healing our hearts, our souls, our minds, and our bodies, yes, he is the divine healer, and everything that he does is beautiful. We have free will. Sometimes we hurt ourself in it because we choose poorly. But we do not have to remain in a poor choice. We can rise above every poor choice and start making choices that reflect goodness, greatness, holiness today. There is no better gift of thanks that you and I can give back to Jesus on his birthday..... This year, my husband and I didnt buy any presents, we looked upon our Lord instead, receiving him in daily prayer, daily mass, daily holy communion, and by remaining prayerful in him, my heart became so full of peace and joy. Let us live each day being present in the company of our Lord. And end each day with an examination of conscience. "Unshackled and free, this is the way to be in Jesus". He wants to touch us and heal us so we can truly live! In order for this to happen, we have to die to our selfish tendencies, they seperate us from God! This is necessary, in order to grow spiritually, and maturely, as faithfilled men and women, divinized by Christ. Let us together pray for all souls that each one desires to choose the light of Christ over darkness. And when we desire what is pleasing to God, his greater glory will always shine in all hearts created by Him.
