What will it take for us to recognize that every single moment we live, is given to us, as a precious gift from God?  If only we could once and for all just take our very eyes off of ourselves, and choose to pay more attention to Christ, our lives would dramatically change for the better.  If Christ would present himself as you read Deb's podcast, what exactly would you say to Him?  Would you bring up the pain in your life?  Or would you be thanking him for everything he has ever done to bless you, in your free will?  It's a great question.  Having an awareness of Christ brings to life what is truly expected of us as his children.  Naturally, He wants what is best for us.  And we have a duty and a responsibility to respond to his call of living a just life.  And building upon that life in a certain manner.  It doesn't matter if we are rich or poor, what matters is we love Christ, we love our life, and we love others.  And we rise above our handicaps.  No matter what they are, we can overcome them when we give Christ priority over our very lives.  I think we can live in a world like this, but we would have to return to the basics.  Faith would have to be an important part of our every day living.  Having faith, learning to live in faith, gives life to the lifeless, hope to the hopeless, and joy where only sorrow once thrived.  The importance of one great choice in life could dramatically change the world we live in with just one interior introspection that desire to amplify Christ, can beautify the life of the universe.  Overall we live in a beautiful world.  A world that has had financial success, yet sadly, we fall deficient in spiritual success for every soul living would benefit greatly if they would choose being more concerned with their spiritual account than their bank account.  Christ will take into account everything.  When our spiritual account is flourishing, we are a changed people.  We treat one another with utmost respect.  We know we are living in Christ and Christ is living in us and Christ is counting on us, his people, to do great things within the parameters of our free will.  When in Christ, we never desire to go against the greatness of God.  We know the blessings He brings.  We are aware, greatly aware of his presence, living in us.  We choose to be different, and to be different in Christ, is to choose obedience/respect, because we desire to be living out our very best life in Him.   And He the Christ, is counting on us!  We ask great questions, we give honest evaluations.  We pay close attention to our motivations.  Because we know that God knows our heart, our deepest thoughts behind every single act chosen.  And yes we are held accountable for everything.  And if we are honest, we know, our attitude needs adjusting.  If we were to put on the mind set of Christ, this world would not be living in such grave sin.  Again, when we are in God, we wrap our grey cells around this reality of truth, we begin to see who we really are and sometimes that's not easy to admit or look at.  I don't think we willingly choose our characteristics, I think we pick up habits through our environment, and we need to recognize and work through removing any that are toxic, in order to be fully in God, in real time.  We live in an age where we can learn, grow, reverse, bad choices, thoughts, experiences, and turn our lives around,  360 degrees, we have the power within us to do this perfectly, and in God.  We have to want it first.  We have to want God first and foremost, and that combination sets our souls free and onto the journey with God whose intention all along for us is to be free, free in Him, free in our being, free to be eternal.
