Are we open to discovering the Great I Am? Are we open to the idea that God wants us closer? He wants us to be the best person we can, and in order to get there we have to be ready to open our hearts completely to him. We have to be honest and prayerful and willing to work through the imperfections in our lives. Even if we take the smallest most important step, we can begin the process that will change our lives. Christ is waiting upon you to decide in this exact moment what it is exactly that you want. Whether you realize it or not, it is He that you need. You may have lost yourself long ago. And have neglected to work through the some really tough spots in your life. Now is the time to go to God, in humility. Because God created you and knew you before you were born, he is not going to steer you off in the wrong direction. He will happily guide you through the process of understanding your true self and all you have to do is let him into your life on a daily basis. For some that can be impossible because you may have chosen to live a life totally exclusive of your creator. You may have become so removed, so sadly remorseful, believing in your heart, you don't Christ when nothing can be further than the truth. We all need Christ, we all need direction in life that is suitable and sustaining. We need a compass in life and that compass is Jesus Christ. When we fight with or against Christ, a slew of bad experiences happen to us, almost as if we are self disciplining. And through this process we learn what we have done to ourselves, and to Christ, at the same time. is a double whammy. And when we choose to deny his existence, denying that he ever made us, and we go on and on, debating our beautiful reality for naught, why is that, it is as if we are a gluttant for punishment and for what, to experience set back, sorrow, disappointment, you cannot fight against the truth, besides all wisdom comes from Christ. He is real, we are real, although our lives seem surreal, God bestows upon his creation the light of his existence, we are only fragments of his greatness, how dare we so radically challenge him, and yet we do so consistently and deliberately, only to experience pain we cannot understand, sorrow we cannot overcome, mixed with confusion, a fierce full force that takes us over our lives, beyond our control. If we have not reached the point of real pain in our life, Christ has not really gotten our full attention. We have to be brought to our knees in order to realize what we did, some of us rise above our poor choices and others remain far from healing, but true hope, and true healing, always remain in Christ's company. We have this amazing opportunity to go to Christ, and ask him for anything, he wants and expects us to do this and so very few of us approach him and experience him on a deeper more personal level and miss out on the gift that he so wants to bless us with. So be stronger in him and the greatest miracle in your life time awaits you. It could be health, it could be a job, it could be a great desire to live in him this Christmas unlike you ever have lived in him before. It could be something simple like desiring a joyful life. Christ can make all the above a reality, but you have to do your part in this by participating in his grace. How do we do that, we dialogue, pray, listen, we wait upon him. And he comes into our heart and into our mind and into our life and changes us that is when the process begins, its eternal, its beautiful, its the most amazing personal experience that is individually detailed by Christ for you. No too experiences are the same. He is a delight to know, you will learn that soon enough.
