Jesus I love you possess us!  We are so fortunate to be among the faithful.  To know that our every prayer is heard and answered by God in his perfect timing.  We will never know who it was that we inspired or brought back to the faith.  And really that is truly only God's business.  Our total responsibility here and now,  is to be, obedient.  And in being obedient, we follow "The Way".  The way the truth, and the life.  All three are one in Christ Jesus.  There is no better time than now to begin that process.  And I am an instrument right now, being used by God, to serve his people.  And I know he wants for all of his children, to become HIS instruments of peace.  Can we?  Will we?  If only we could surrender to ourselves altogether, and diminish our selfish desires totally, and give ourselves back to God completely, He could renew us, empower us in becoming more, to serve HIM and others, in a beautiful, loving, healthy, balanced way.  The one thing I have learned from living life close to sixty years, is, once I found out who Jesus was, and is, I felt very compelled to surrender my heart, my brokenness of soul to him, and when I did my life began to change slowly, for the better.  I had learned that life, true life, is all about making someone else happy.  This in and of itself, brought me to the absolute truth and realization that I can experience the greatest joy, when I give of myself to enlighten another.  Now, it is not an instantaneous experience, as it is more of a process.  Mine of course, may be totally different than yours, so we cannot say we will share the exact same journey because we wont, we cant, we are all different, and living in different stages of our growth as men and as women.  And when you add the spiritual component into the equation you add another dimension of complexity if you will to the experience.  Try not to run away from what I am saying, but stay with me.  Elders are truly priceless treasures to our youth.  They are mentors/teachers who have been given by God, the gift of time/structure combined, have a tremendous lot to offer.  Say that today you are a student of mine, and I am trying to bring to your attention the greatest gift of love, that ever was/ever will be, that of our Holy Father, the creator of the universe.  And you were never taught the faith.  And, you arrive with a clean slate.  And I have this opportunity to fill it with the gift of truth.  And I go on to tell you that you were born in the image and likeness of your creator.  You probably would not know where to begin in conversing with me.  But, at the same time, I have planted a seed of great thought in you to consider.  Curiosity settles into your psyche, and a desire to investigate this revelation begins.  Looking into this truth, something greater begins to take root in you.  By being inquisitive, by being inspired you are lead to a place that will be life changing.  I believe only God can lead you the rest of the way, but with your permission.  It is then, the path of knowledge is opened up to you, you can either accept it or deny it, believe it or denounce it.  But when you choose either way, there are two separate ramifications.  If you accept you will have to look at the deepest imperfections of the self.  If you deny, you may never know fully who you are, who you were meant to be.  I think we all come to a juncture in life where we cooperate/reason with our life situation.  We become purified in our truth, where we find God, entering into his divine presence and our spiritual journey begins.  And what is best for us follows!
