We are called and personally invited to enter into a personal relationship with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Be not afraid. Be trusting. Place all of your trust in our Lord. He will guide you, protect you from all harm and all evil.. He will make your path straight. He will remove all confusion. His power will rest upon you. Your responsibility is to answer yes to his call. He will instruct you. He will never forsake you. We must come to this healthy resolution and rest in Christ. We are made in his likeness and image and all hearts can rest in him when they choose to accept him as their Lord and Savior. If you are experiencing confusion, know that confusion is NOT of our Lord. He is a God of truth, love, understanding, compassion. He is a God of hope, faith, charity, who guides us to all righteousness. We can choose Christ and live. Yes live for all eternity in Him. We have this opportunity and its an important one that should not be missed. We have this time given to us by God on earth to discover Him, to live in him, to grow in him, and to serve others in him. The power of free will is a double edged sword. It can help us and equally hurt us if we choose wrongly. When we choose Christ, we choose to walk into the light that is he! And that light lives in us and it is brought into the world exemplifying Christ and his love for all humankind. For all of creation. For all LIFE. We were all given that special gift. We didn't make life, we were brought into it through Christ. He gave us parents who loved and through their love, you and I were conceived. Miraculously conceived in the image and in the likeness of God. It's a great mystery. No one can fully explain what God has allowed for us to see and experience. I believe we all have a lot of unanswered questions that only God himself will someday answer when he comes back for us. But until then, we must live our lives in HIM. We must never tire ourselves when it comes to our Lord. We must be eager to serve him, and sacrifice our lives for our loved ones, for those that were placed in our path, even those who hurt us constantly, our Lord sees and wants our cross to be aligned with his. God has a better plan for us, and when we recognize his presence, we stand clear out of his way, and learn the importance of living a disciplined life, obedient to the end, we live a life of service, serving others, and seeking Christ in our brothers and sisters, for they too are important to God. This life is not about us. It is about Jesus. It is about the Eucharist. It is about the holy mass. It is about finding and being in Jesus company during the exposition of the holy eucharist. It is when we are in adoration, we are preparing our soul for the journey of eternal life. And it begins as soon as we give God access to our hearts. It begins when the things of this world have become meaningless to us and Jesus has become meaningful. It is then we know we have our mind set on heaven and not earth. When we see Christ as a priority, our lives are abundantly blessed and enriched beyond what we know and see. God allows a beatific vision to enter into us, and we are on a journey that frees us from the things of this life and God himself brings us to a place that is more real than our thoughts. We walk in the community of God, our prayers are heard by God. Our actions toward others is the fruit of God. To remain in God is to accomplish his will as we surrender our own will, trusting he will do something greater than we ever could with it. He is doing so right now in this podcast, as you read it, Christ is touching your spirit, and making you holy. He can surprise us when we surrender.
