Saint Mary Magdeline.  Chosen by God to be at the cross, while being crucified.  She was also given the privilege to be present at his resurrection.  I cannot imagine what that would have been like.  But God knew she would be chosen.  And what an honor for Saint Mary Magdeline because she was able to be in our creators presence and be part of Christ's story.  How amazing and awesome is that?  I believe God wanted all women to be drawn closer to a female figure and relate with Mary Magdeline, when throughout history, so many spoke ill of her creating a rift among the faithful.  And yet, even though this went on, God was showing, a new way to love.  Looking at life and death through Gods lens and not our own can be a real challenge.  St. Mary Magdeline who saw our Lord resurrected was used as Gods instrument.  She wiped Jesus body with her hair, her tears, and Jesus forgave her, all of her sins.  It is a reflection worthy of immersing ourselves in.  Our Lord is a merciful Lord.  And He forgives, but why can't we?  So much time is wasted on being unforgiving.  And the separation it causes is not worth the pain it brings into the heart and soul of family life.  When we will ever learn to love like Jesus?  When will we choose to put on Christ today, and everyday for the duration of our lives?  Jesus no doubt is watching all of us in our humanity, he wants alot more than what we are giving.  Yes, the tears, and the tares of this life before death are very real.  That is why I am introducing you to Saint Mary Magdeline.  Do your best to research her life and her history.  Better yet purchase Edith Filliette's book on Mary Magdelines Life and History, read the facts, delve into the truth, and fall in love with our Lord and the Saints, in particular Saint Mary Magdeline.  When I knew I would be traveling this summer, I wanted a great companion to take along with me.  "Divinely Inspired By God Himself", I took to heart and preplanned my holiday with a prayerful connotation.  By freely immersing myself into the life of a saint, my journey was spirit filled. I called upon her intercession and thanked her many times.  This was the first time in my life I had literally felt the companionship of a Saint present in me because the day began and ended in prayerful sacred reading.  Looking back I can honestly say, including Saint Mary Magdeline, there was a desire to focus more on Christ and all of his creations. Christ created the beautiful atlantic ocean, that roared with 8-15 foot seas, rocking us like children to sleep.  He revealed his power in the sunrise reflecting upon the ocean, the air was crisp clean more like pristine and I could not get enough of it through my nostrils.  Fjords and glaciers all covered in snow and ice, I stood in awe in wonder, as the scenery captivated my soul.  The powerful force of waterfalls, the grazing sheep, horses, goats, no trees whatsoever, only mountains that looked as if they were covered in darkest of chocolates in layers and shades my eyes have never seen.  Completely covered as if someone sprinkled a purlverized concoction of pistachios over it,  then realized that God wanted me to see his one of his best landscapes.  Not only that but his best musicians were on hand to perform "Love Lost and Ave Maria" on classical piano and clarinette.  As I closed my eyes tears were streaming down my face, I felt my soul being touched by God, and the very special people He had chosen to grace us  with their company and love for God and their musical talent.  So yes, God was with us!  And we sang, we danced, we rejoiced being in His company along with Saint Mary Magdeline.
