We are the light of the world. Created to do good things. We are called by God to live in that light that is Jesus Christ himself. Those who choose to live in the light live forever. Those who desire the light go on to achieve greatness. Goodness for the sake of others. They die to their selfish tendencies in order to live truly - live the life of Christ. The joy, the grace, the happiness this great and ultimate sacrifice offers matters. Matters so much, we enter into the realm of heaven while still living on earth. Serving God, is to live and serve our brothers and sisters. We are all called to this great service in life. We serve our family, our community, our country, and god willing we choose to humbly serve our God. We are beacons of light shining ever so bright in the minutes and hours so precious that we live. We breathe and we don't ever think twice about our heart, our lungs, our brains, functioning and they work in perfect unison because God wills it. Somethings we may never fully come to know and understand, but God created us for a time, a season, with a minimal understanding of the many great mysteries we question, and we will die not knowing everything because he made us with a very limited understanding. In faith we go forth trusting believing loving all that he has revealed to us. We can never turn back the pages of time but plough forward with great success at every achievement he our Lord has allowed for us to receive in this life. We were born to know God, love God, and serve God, in this life and into the next. He is the greatest light, the fire that burns out the darkness in all hearts he has ever created, to deny him would be the greatest loss of humankind. To accept him, is to receive the rewards that bless beyond eternal bliss. Yet to be known, yet to be experienced, yet to be lived. To believe in these truths, is to believe in the Christ that saves us all from ourselves and every sin. Welcome yourself into the light, without fear, with total trust, and you will live forever!
