Advent is a very special time and each year we celebrate it going deeper and deeper into prayer. Attending an Advent Retreat allows us to prayerfully go deeper into the mysteries and great life of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. With every retreat we attend we bring ourselves closer to a more loving God. Do we fail to recognize his holy presence in our lives, I believe that we do sometimes, quite honestly, we miss the mark, and fail to recognize God and uphold God in the manner He is deserving of.
We need to have a healthy relationship with him to fully understand our role in this life. Yes we were meant for greater things. But we need to discover what they are, and, what they mean to God. You and I mean the world to God. He gave us life, and we live on a vast and beautiful earth worthy of exploration. But he also gave us a mind, to think like him, and a heart, to love like him, along with a soul, we know so little about!
Our soul was meant to live on forever, for all eternity with our creator and at what point do we recognize this great importance and begin living in him fully grasping this truth to the ump degree? When does God become our number one priority? Do we just go on living ignoring the most important person who created us and everything living upon the universe. I believe God is worthy of being placed in the forefront of our lives so that we can receive his blessing for the duration of our journey when we return back to Him.
How do I get this urgent point across and help a generation understand this important truth? Tonight I am calling upon our Lady of Guadeloupe to assist me with the feat of this century. I know she will not let either of us down. She loves to be called upon in matters of this magnitude. O holy Mary please reveal to everyone tonight the truth that God has placed deep within my heart to reveal to humanity. Please send this request to your Son so that all souls have this opportunity to consider being saved! Thank you Holy Mother for hearing this prayer tonight, amen.
