As a fisherman, as a preacher, you have brought many people to Jesus, through your good deeds and hard work, we are remembering your feast day.
You have told Simon Peter, "We have found the Messiah" and not only that, you had brought him to Jesus. Please bring more fishers of men desiring to be like Simon Peter, back to the fold.
Many are still hopelessly wandering in the darkness, please show them all how to rediscover the purity of God's most perfect light. The same light that saved us. The light that offers hope in hopeless situations. The light that heals, delivering us from all evil.
We need your heavenly assistance today. Your saintlyhood still reigns true, as Jesus uses all of us as his holy instruments of peace, do bring forth, great teachers to redirect and prayerfully educate the next generation of men and women fishing for the truth!
And may their only desire be, to catch/deliver your most powerful message, that will feed the people you so choose to place within their path who also only desire is --to know and please you!
