Who we are in Christ is yet to be revealed.  No truer words have ever been spoken!  For most of us, I truly believe in the recess of my heart that it takes a lifetime to bring out the very best within us. It takes hard work to do the job meaning, we have to cooperate with Gods grace in order to finish the race that is before us in such a fashion of great honesty and integrity. To be who we were meant to be and to live in the Christ who created us out of love, and true divinity, we must desire to tap into the grace of his almighty presence and acknowledge him as our Lord. And yet sadly enough, not every one gets the chance to finish out this beautiful meaningful wonderful life,  "Like A  Pro!"  And yet I believe it would be a great goal for all of us to have in mind as we live out our last years, which can also be, our most productive, if we are truly paying attention to God and his gentle nudging at our hearts because he want for us to be his best sons and daughters ever.  As Catholic's, we certainly need to set the tone, and raise the bar as high as possible, when it comes to our leadership in guiding the faithful back to God.  We are talking here tonight about the importance of saving our very own soul and the souls of those we care deeply about.  We can go through this life and miss out tremendously on this opportunity to live in God, to worship God, and to understand his great plans for our future include him every step of the way.  God is all about inclusivity.  He wants all of us to experience first hand the truth about who we really are, and who we really(need to) become, at that moment,  when we set our life on the path of true catholic teachings. In this, obedience, and discipline, we are safe guarded by God for the duration of our life journey.  When we are guided we make progress, not mistakes, and we soon learn that the cost is just too high to live otherwise.  And when we choose to go against our creator, we limit ourselves in receiving his grace.  We can have a lifetime of achievements and accomplishments by themselves, however those accomplishments mean nothing when we exclude Christ.  And if we go about it properly, there is a great gift given to us personally by God himself.  For example. when we open up the bible, and choose to study the gospel messages, God reveals to us rules to abide by and how those rules were meant to help us in moving forward.  The majority of us, have lived life, made mistakes, and read the bible after the fact.  Not having a real compass in life, unfortunately has greatly hurt us to the point of  creating great setbacks and sorrow. But when we open the book of knowledge, in that moment, we enter into the absolute greatest company ever.  Our Lord and Savior is beside us lovingly guiding us forward, because he wants everyone to prosper in him, through in, and with him.  Yes it is that simple.  We just somehow botch things up and make God complicated.  We will never fully understand him because he purposely gave us a very limited knowledge.  It should not at all surprise us.  God also left a lot of gaps, r known as blind spots in our life for a reason.  I truly believe that we were meant to struggle and feel the great loss of not having him and going through life feeling a strong sense of emptiness  that only He himself could fill.  Placing God first means, we self surrender.  We allow the grace of Him to enter into the deepest recesses of our mind and soul.  It's a good practice to step aside from our self and evaluate God plans and his desire to convert us, by making us better people.  Sometimes we need to step aside and be quiet and hear his voice and allow God to reveal every hidden natural talent he has ever graced upon you and go out  and set the world on fire for Jesus, as did St. Catherine Of sienna..
