The message here is to dwell deeply within holy scripture. It is there we get to know Jesus in a unique manner. It is there we expand our knowledge of Him. We learn more fully how to be a real true authentic Christian, day in and day out living a life of great hope, love and charity through being more spiritual.
Christian growth its a good thing! What it does is, nourishes the mind, and more importantly the soul, preparing both to enter more freely into the Divine and the Eternal Power. Can all Christians receive it? Absolutely. And through this podcast we get to do exactly that together.
Lets explore these possibilities. If we are hungering for more to this life that promotes the nurturing of our faith, and strengthening our beliefs, I believe it is fair to say, yes we as devout Catholics can strive for the depth of knowledge that is Christ. And yes if we desire to be with like Him in everything, Christ himself will get us there.
Christ deliberately draws all Christians closer to His powerful presence daily, and if we are really paying close attention to him, we can see it, and feel it, and sense it when we say the right thing, and even when we say the wrong thing. Christ is everywhere. In our home, within our church, and at ministerial capacity.
It almost reminiscent of losing a loved one. We are reminded quite often that the departed are closer than we realize. I believe it is exactly the same way with Jesus. He died for our sins, and we want to know who he was and who he is as we question the truth and knowledge of the great I AM.
For us as Christians to step up into this arena, this realm, is huge! It takes great courage and great desire to want Christ who lives in us, to bring us to the place where we become our best self. We get there through contemplation, meditation, lectio divina. The interior silence is where we meet our King. And our lives are enriched beyond measure, And it is there our new life begins, and we look forward to the adventure that Christ has planned personally for us and the knowledge He wants us to obtain, so we can set the world afire with his love as Saint Catherine of Sienna reminds us. This great and wonderful Dominican Saint prepares us and not only that she inspires us to do more, to follow in the footsteps of the great saints who have lived before us and sacrificed their all to be forever in Christ and with Christ from the beginning to the end.
Lets try with all our might be follow the examples given to us and build up the treasure found in the life of service for God.
