At holy mass, our inner character is disciplined in the knowledge of truth and love of our Lord, we are guided spiritually and devoutly by traditional priests who want each and every one of us to get to heaven. It is important to have a clean slate. A Heart Contrite and Humble O'God You Will Not Spurn...and a mind so pure and clean so that Jesus can enter into our midst and we can hear him speak and guide us throughout our lifetime. We certainly need mentors to assist us because we were not meant to figure out our Catholic faith, all on our own. We were given select guardians such as men and women, priests and sisters, to spiritually guide us on our journey. Those interactions will help us to decide whether we will accept or deny His invitation. My hope is you are ready and prepared to say yes to God today! So why is it important for Catholic men and women to attend First Holy Saturday? I believe solely in my heart our prayers are needed, not only for ourselves and all of our loved ones, but more importantly, for the next generation of believers. God invites us to enter into the allegiance of his silent company, and it is there that we can tone down a deaf ear, to the grandiose noise of untruths being told to us by the enemy. When enter into Gods holy presence at every mass and we pray, listen, learn from sacred scripture and through the recitation of our prayers. I believe when we enter into God's presence, each prayer unlocks the truth about our destiny, of who we are and what our true purpose in life was meant to be. For each and every person created by God has been given a very special unique gift yet to be revealed in this world. I know in my heart and soul that God does want the absolute best for us, but he doesn't force this reality upon us, instead we are given the option to choose. And in recognizing this most important reality, we instinctively, have the good sense and grace (From God himself) to listen and step aside of our selfish wants and desires in exchange of allowing Gods will to overthrow our own desires. In other words, by chooseing not stand in His way, He can reveal to us beyond what our mind has been able to comprehend in the past and break free from the bonds and chains that have set us back from identifying and becoming our best self. Even as I write this to you, I know I have not yet become fully the woman of God that He himself wants from me. We cannot hold a candle to what God can do in and through us when we walk and live in Him. Greater Is He That Is In You, Than Is In The World! It takes a lifetime to undo the knots we have created when we were not fully living in Christ. But the greatest news here is, once we discover Christ, we never ever desire to live apart from Him. The maturity of Christ living in us hits us all at different times. So some of us are much further along in our walk with Him. Be not discouraged! As long as you are in Him and you are allowing his will to form your life anew every single day, you will receive your best self in Him. The process must begin somewhere. Whether you came to Christ at 25 as I did or even younger,(Praise God), we all must rejoice in thanking God for His inspiration of Living In Us... Having his grace, hope, love, and truth to count on, to believe in, knowing He will form deep within us powerful beautiful Christian meant to set this world on fire with His love and truth, is everything!!! Having an open heart, and a prayerful life, definitely opens the door very wide to the heart/soul of Christ who made us in his image and likeness, whose love was so willing for us, that He chose to die on the cross, so that we can all go to heaven, and remain in Him forever.
